Women Writers Day

Women Writers Day

The Women Writers Day in Porthcawl Grand Pavilion on 26 June 2010 offered individuals the opportunity to learn more about Women Writers in Wales and how to start pursuing their own path to creating a best selling novel.

This unique one-day event brought some of the biggest names in the Welsh book world together with new writers.

Organised by Academi, the day-long event at The Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl, aimed to encourage new talent from Wales. New authors were also given the chance to have their work assessed by Honno literary editor, Caroline Oakley.
